Ease Off Stress And Increase Your Fertility

Stress invades everyone’s life. There are bills to be paid, added assignments and
projects at our jobs, and traffic jams on major highways. All of these are a source
of stress for most people. Finding ways to eliminate the stress in your life is
important for both the health of you and your unborn baby. If you find that you
cannot deal well with stress, look for different things that can soothe your mind
and your soul. Take an oil painting class. Get together with friends on a Saturday
morning for brunch. Visit a museum for an afternoon. Join a book club. Take up
quilting. Learn a new hobby. Study a foreign language at your local college. Join
a dance class or a gym. Whatever interests you, do it.

The introduction of something fun and exciting in your life will be something that
can certainly help dispel some of the stress in your life. If you haven’t had the
time over the years to take pleasure in a hobby or other activity that was part of
your life before, please take the time now to reintroduce yourself to that particular
activity.

Once you are pregnant, continue with the activities or hobbies that you enjoy (as
long as your doctor says it is okay). Perhaps you love ballet dancing but cannot
continue doing jumps and other hard positions, but you can still enjoy the
camaraderie and gentle conditioning that a weekly class offers. Other hobbies
like walking with friends in the park, watching ballgames with your partner, taking
a French cooking class, or studying art at a museum are still things that you can
partake in. Just think, someday you might be sharing these wonderful interests
with your baby! Your little one might be enjoying the fruits of your labors from that
cooking class in a few years or to your delight, may have found a great
appreciation for art.

Years ago, pregnancy was considered to be a “delicate” condition where women
were expected to put their feet up frequently and rest. While pregnancy still
makes us weary and we should still rest when needed, don’t stop doing
something simply because you think that now you are pregnant, you shouldn’t.
Instead, talk to your doctor about your concerns. A good amount of activities you
enjoy now you will have the chance to continue to appreciate throughout most of
your pregnancy. Don’t think that you need to sit around bored to death
throughout the entire nine months. Keeping yourself busy and active will do you a
lot more good then sitting on the couch for the three trimesters. Being active may
also combat the tiredness you feel throughout the pregnancy. Plus, you may
want to do the things you really like now. Once that baby comes, you will have a
lot less time to yourself because a little human being will be monopolizing most of
your waking (and sleeping) hours.

So, the important thing to do is get both your mind and your body ready to have a
baby. Sure, it is very important that your body is physically ready to house an
unborn child for nine months but you will have a happier baby if the mother is
happy and healthy, too.

Of course, you may still get bitten by that flu bug or end up in bed with a nasty
viral infection. Staying healthy doesn’t mean you won’t catch some germ that is
nearby, but if your overall health is good in the first place, you will recover quicker
and be back to normal soon.

by Helene Kvist

Of course it depends on your current situation, your basic health and a few other things, but the best way to get pregnant is usually a fairly straightforward affair.

There are five things to be aware of, and get right;

  1. your head (ie. your attitude),
  2. your diet,
  3. exercise,
  4. your stress level,
  5. timing intercourse

The Best Way To Become Pregnant

Firstly, your attitude. I know, you are groaning at the mere mention of this, that word (attitude) carries so much baggage. However, my own experience and those of many other women I talk to indicate it is definitely a factor. If you are looking for the best way to become pregnant, simply wanting it could make a huge difference. The body is a communication system of chemicals and hormones and in the case of ovulating and fertilizing an egg within the uterus thousands of interactions having to go just right. When you say outwardly you want a baby, but inwardly have doubts. Guess which dialogue your body listens to?
